Athletics General Endowment
Our Athletics Department is committed to enriching campus life through our programs of interscholastic athletics and by promoting the development of qualities in our student-athletes that serves us and the community. As part of the educational program of the school, AMHS athletics prioritizes teaching men and women student-athletes the importance of teamwork, selflessness, and commitment rather than focusing on the outcome of competitions. Currently the department offers 26 programs consisting of 62 teams, with a staff of over 100 coaches. In any given year, over 900 students participate on an AMHS athletic team. In 2020, Cal-Hi Sports named Archbishop Mitty High School the Cal-Hi Sports State School of the Century for athletics. The values, experiences, and relationships created through athletic participation helps make AMHS feel like home for all.
